Upclose with Celebrities at Glamour Bash 2006...

On Sunday, I went to the Glamour Bash 2006 organised by Style Weddings Magazine at Pan Pacific Hotel. Actually went there to survey the wedding and photo package for my wedding next year and you know what, I managed to get close to a few celebrities, although they ain't really that popular lah..haha! First in line is Julian Hee. I was in the toilet washing my hands when he came rite in and stand beside me. He was arranging his hair and I smile at him and he smile back. Wondering if I meet him while we are peeing and I smile at him...hmmmmmm......

While waiting for my gf, I saw another 2 celebrities... this time round is Daniel Ong(Co-host of Singapore Idol) and former Miss Singapore, Jaime Teo, holding hands together and walking past me. So they are a couple ah...
And during the fashion show, I finally saw Felicia Chin and Yvonne Lim. Both look really chio... especially Felicia. And both nearly trip when doing the catwalk wearing the wedding gown...

And I got some enlightening extracts from the host during this event... "Wedding is ALL ABOUT THE WOMEN... men is juz there to pay the bill"....damn rite! Another one is "You need to prepare 3 rings for the wedding... The 1st is engagement ring, the 2nd is Wedding rings(band) and the 3rd is ... suffeRING!"Damn right again... haha! Initially I thought the 3rd ring refer to condom, the ring for our brotherhood... guess I think too much lah....

Anyway, back to Glamour Bash. Quite a few bridal shops are promoting their packages and prices are very competitive and all the shops resort to hard selling thru out the event. There is one sales person who really pissed me a bit cos she asked the same question "May I know why you need to consider?" for a total of more than 5 times during her hard sell presentation....NB... what the Fxxx...Finally we decided on one of the package from another shop and overall, I had a great day with my gf as we are happily half way thru to finalise the most important part of our life...CHEERS!
