Oh my God! aka OMG

After reading my buddy latest blog update.. it sort of awaken me and I realised I have acted ignorance of the major and life threatening issues that have been happening around the world.

Yes, I have heard all the issues that my buddy raised... the Bird flu found in Vietnamese ducks, Typhoon hits China as over 1.5 million evacuated, Suicide bomber kills 33 near Iraqi Shiite shrine, Israel TV reports armoured push into south Lebanon and New warning over erupting Philippine volcano. But I actually have no emotions over all that is occuring right now...maybe they are not happening right in front of me... that is why I did not care much. Now after thinking back... I realised I have lost the humanity and regretted of my "none of my business" altitude. But I guess it is better to regain some humanity now than losing it forever without realising it. Thanks bro, you saved me :)

And beside the natural and man made disasters, the issue of "god" has also been raised. Where is god when human are sufferings? When is Armageddon going to happen whereby it will destroy the whole human world and bring about a new beginning?

Well... my personal opinion is that we human, which is you and me, has the choice to be god. So if you forsake to be god, then you have chosen to be the Devil. Don be mistaken, there is no religion meaning in my statement. Let me put it this way, if you live a meaningful life by helping people all your life from the bottom of your heart, by saving people from near death, never take advantages of people when they needed your assistance, never hate and never loathe, show generosity and pardon the sins of your enemies.. then you are living a god-like life cos these are what we human thinks god will do.

On the other hand, you shun the light and act like the devil, kill the innocent to achieve your unorthodox aims, initiate war to end uncompromising disagreements, never help when it is within your means and choose to walk away when someone reaches you for help... then you are living a devil-like life. I have been struggling in a semi-devil life before I read my buddy blog... now I am going to change it and pursue a god-like life.

As for armageddon... I don think it will happen. At least I don believe the world will be destroyed completely... simply because only thru sufferings then human will appreciate life. To me, there is no meaning by destroying the world in one scoop and then create a new world. Human will not be able to learn in this way... it is not like computer games whereby you can reset and resume a new role and play all over again. I believe there is a certain logic controlling the world... life brings about death and goodness bring about badness. These things will forever keep going and going. Don ask me whether there is god or whether i believe in god...I don have the answer. But I believe: God is within us and we shall live life the way we assume god will live :)
