My 1st overseas business trip: HK

Went for my 1st business trip to HK from 29th Apr till 30th Apr. A very short trip but I have managed to maximise my time and got to shop and walk about with great safisfaction. Took the 8am flight to HK and reached my Hotel, Marco Polo Hotel at 1pm. Called agent and found that the cruise ship I am attending to will only arrived tomorrow morning. Which meant that I have the whole day to walk and shop in HK. Shiok! Walk about in Tsim SHa Tsui, which is one of their shopping paradise and business district. So crowded and full of foreigners. And the queue outside the LV boutique is so long which reminded me of the Nasi Lemak store in Boon Lay Hawker Centre. Inside the LV boutique , I even saw some Lamas ... curiosity or shopping?
Took their MTR( HK version of MRT) to MongKok(旺角) to shop at Women Street. As the name implies, street selling women products, and also lots of branded imitations. Nothing much. Evening time, took MTR to Temple Street (庙街)and it is much more interesting and bigger. And at one corner, you can see a row of special tentages. Walking closer and I realised they are all offering fortune telling, from eastern to western methods. Did not try as wish to keep my future as a surprise. Have roast duck for dinner and their duck is really fat and juicy, so much better than waht we have in Singapore. Yummy! Actually temple street look much like Bangkok nite market, except that what you are hearing now is almost cantonese. Bought a few items and went to Ocean terminal, which is juz behind my hotel. The nite view is really nice and foggy.
The next day, went onboard the cruise ship and service my system. Knn, nearly scare out of my wits when I realised I was given the wrong info and brought along the wrong spare. Luckily, it was a minor fault and I solved it. Phew! Work from 9am till 1130am and I am free till my flight at 8pm.Easy money and free travelling! haha! Quickly took the MTR and visit HK famous temple, Huang Da Xian. 黄大仙。Quite a big temple and lots of people. Walk around at that area and took a cab to the HK airport. You know wat, the journey took about 40 min and the fare is about 270 Hk. And the taxi driver say since i put my luggage at his boot, I need to pay extra 80Hk. He doesn't seem the kind type with tatoos and dyed hair and with the influx of so many HK triads movies... I gave him 350Hk(around $70Sing)...Lan lan. Maybe it is normal to pay for using their car boot, I don know. Anyone can verify?
