My 30th Birthday! 17th April 2006!

Finally step into the 30 something age group.... Have a pre birthday celebration on Sunday with Jenny... sumptuous dinner at "No Sign Board Seafood" at Kallang. The chilli crab is really really yummy, and the Black pepper Bull Frog is tender and out of this world. Highly recommended! Somemore have the luxurious view of the Kallang River and also the City Skyscrapers glittering views....And the best of all, is sharing this special moment with Jenny :) Don puke ok... let me be a romantic valentine for a while lah....

After that, we went photo taking at Esplanade... nice city views but too bad my Sony T5 can't capture good night scenary pic...not that bad but definitely can be better. Have a sudden urge to upgrade to a better quality digi cam so that I can capture all the special moments in the most beautiful ways possible.

And yeah, my birthday morning opened with a good start with me earning my 1st profit from the STI Bull run. Sold Beauty China at 86.0 and earn about $200. I know people must be saying what is the big fuss with $200 when others are earning thousands easily... come on... a win is a win... and don forget I am TGK, courtesy of my kakis who crowned me with this nick... I suppose I can turn $200 into multiple folds when I chance upon the right moment, right time and right numbers...rite? Haha! Huh... I heard people saying "Bullshit"....blah blah blah...

And I also received birthday wishes from good friends... Bro Ah Bao, Agnes, Ruth and very early in the morning, Bro Pose! Bro Pose is now a full time STI investor for the next one month before he step into the Private Sector. But I think he will earn enough from this STI Bull run to postphone his venture to Private sector for another 1 month, juz nice for him to watch the world cup before deciding his career path :)

Overall, I have a great 30 years ! Although it is not smooth sailing for certain moments in that 30 years, ... but I pull thru and I am optimistic enough to put all behind me and look forward to another great 30 years! And she will be there to walk the next 30 years with me... hor Jenny hor? Haha!

Itchy hands.... Bowling and Shares!

Well, first of all congrats to Rick and Celine(Some say Serene and some say Selen??) for their ROM on 8th April 2006! I believe most of you have saw their blissful photo at Papazazzi Pose blog...and there are some controversial ones which he show shown too. I was there to witness the merger brought together by love, and at the same time, understudy at what may be happening to me in the near future...hee! Stress ah... have to make the marriage vows in Chinese in front of so many relatives and friends...

After that my gang pit our bowling skills at Jurong Bowl. At stake is our pride and dignity and we bowl our hearts out, especially at the 3rd game where Ah Poh the Explosive Bowler, Pose the Elegance Bowler and me the Suave Bowler chase at each other tails, bitting and refusing to let go. Finally, and logically, I emerged the winner! Haha! Oh, by the way, Steven the Erratic Bowler was competiting too, but his challenge at 3rd game was neligible :) Somehow, I realised I do like bowling a lot. The thrill of getting a Strike and Spare simply thrill me... and I think I am going to bowl again this Good Friday...hands itchy..anyone wanna join me? SMS me ok?

Now...more on itchy hands... my ALLCO reits price drop further... My STX PO also drop... what the F! Almost all the whole STI is going up whereas mine is going the reverse.... really no fore sight ah! Unable to tolerate the setback, my hands itchy and went in BeautyChina at 83.5cents... now hoping to recoup some losses...hope lah! Bro KK and Bro Pose must share share insiders news to help me recoup loss ah... Cheong Ah! Happy trading, Brudders!

Yeah... Man U is catching up with Chelsea! Although most of us are writing off Man U for the title but I believe deep in the heart of RED DEVILS fans, we are all hoping for a miracle... Chelsea facings their blues and Man U upstaging the BLUES! Interesting match when Man U meet Chelsea on 29th April... hope to see competition still wide open at that time :)

And now about my shares...sigh... after so many lessons learnt from my previous horrendous investment experiences, I must say I am still a very green alien to shares. I thought I have got a great deal when I got 5 lots of ALLCO thru IPO and during the 1st day of trading, it actually fell below IPO price! As property stocks are in play these few months therefore I assume ALLCO will cheong too... ok lah, although it is a Australian Property counter but when the market is bullish, who really care where the counters come from? Juz look at all the China Counters, are all companies really making money? Or juz plain rumours and speculations? I always remind myself : "Buy low sell high"... Always buy before they goes up and NOT juz when they starts to come down... That is why till now I still no balls to play China Counters...if all the China Stocks still cheong then I can only squeeze my balls and sigh and watch people make money lor :) Good luck Brudders!

I went house viewing on Saturday, at Bukit Panjang near Segar LRT. These EAs are under the HDB walk-in-selection. There are very few people when I reach there and I can understand that as that place is really a "鸟不生蛋的地方". And I chatted with one of the families staying there and was told that the flats have been there for 6 yrs oledy and until now still not fully occupied. No nearby facilities and inconvenience transport. Buying a house can be a real headache.....
